Virtual HIV Prevention Social Media Training to Reach Young MSM of Color

Date: November 18, 2022

Time: 9:00 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. (Central)

Location: Webinar

IPHA welcomes all interested providers to attend a Virtual HIV Prevention Social Media Training to Reach Young MSM of Color (this virtual course replaces the regional in-person trainings, due to COVID mitigation). With disproportionate HIV rates among young African-American and Latino men who have sex with men (MSM), this virtual training will assist attendees in implementing HIV prevention social media efforts to reach these populations.

Note: This training is newly updated with a segment on utilizing TikTok for HIV prevention social media activities.

Format: You will receive a link to the Zoom webinar and instructions a few days prior to the training.

Registration Fee: $0

This training is provided by the Illinois Public Health Association (IPHA), through funding from the Illinois Department of Public Health Center for Minority Health Services.
